A meditation on creating

Or, it's not easy work but try not to sound like a snot when doing it

Writing isn’t easy; it’s not simply typing.

Creating impactful work of any kind is not easy, because for it to land with impact, it’s got to have the weight of substance on its side.

But, don’t confuse impressive language with depth or substance; it rarely is. Trying to sound substantive usually only results in sounding like a pretentious twit.

It’s as simple and as complicated as just this: decide what you want to say, and say it simply and accessibly.
