But, like, the extremely terrible kind
Today, write about some of the absolute worst advice you’ve ever received. Be sure to include the source of the advice, how hearing the advice made you feel, and, certainly, whether or not you actually followed it, and why.
As for me, I will be writing about the career advice an older and very traditional (*cough cough totally sexist cough*) relative once gave me that I absolutely, positively did not follow for even an effing second, and that advice was, “You’re pretty smart, so you’ll make someone a great wife. Go get a job in a steakhouse and find a nice man to take care of you.”
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL (*laughs for a thousand years*). Yeah, absolutely not.
