Today, give yourself at least 5 minutes to free write about anything and everything that’s got your anxiety levels up today. Maybe moving to masks-optional is freaking you out, maybe you’re feeling some kind of way about the Russian attack on Ukraine, maybe your kids are being little shits, maybe you’re exhausted from shaking down a freelance client who still hasn’t paid you. Maybe it’s all of those things. Whatever it is, give yourself at least five minutes (even if you’re typing onto the notes app of your phone hiding in the damn bathroom) to write hard and fast and get all of it out on paper/screen.
Once it’s out of your brain, you have the option of then noting what is specifically bothering you about each of the things on your list and adding the whole thing to your main topic ideas list.
