All November, we’re focusing on non-fiction writing prompts per usual but through the frame of also taking a good, long look at your writing life and overall creative career things you want to do.
Free write around this: how do you normally handle networking events or meet + greets after your performances/talks? What do you like and dislike about them?
What beliefs (for better and worse) do you have about networking and meeting people?
How do you normally handle follow-up after connecting with people at events? After readings/book signings? What have the results been like?
Write long into these things. Indeed you might get a good esssay out of some of it, but my hope is that you also find an ah-ha in the mix, too.
