Competitiveness
It can be ick and it can be energy
I don’t believe there is competition in creativity. There may be competition in situations that arise at the intersection of art and commerce but in art itself? Nope. We can both write a story about, say, strange events in history at a particular house and both of us will have perfectly fine pieces of writing; if we enter into the publishing space, sure, we might be competing to get published but creating the work is not competitive with anyone except maybe ourselves.
But, today, write about competitiveness. It can be ick and bring out insecurities; it can be invigorating and push us forward. Both thing can be true.
