Excavating being a lot
I am definitely a lot and the alternative is to be a little and I’d rather not do that thank you
Today write about a way in which you feel like a lot. But also, get into this idea: the cost to you to hide part of yourself is significant. And, who said being a lot was a problem anyway? A lot to whom? To social standards? Under capitalism? Under gender norms? All that can go jump in a lake.
So, write about a way in which you struggle to show up fully in the world (because that’s what we are often saying when we say we’re “a lot” and then interrogate the everloving shit out of the reasons why you struggle. Let’s get into that. Yes. Let’s completely normalize being our full-ass selves in all the ways we want. Let’s write. Let’s go.
