Forgiving ourselves

Write about a way in which you would like to forgive yourself. Perhaps start by making a list of things for which you could stop being pissed at yourself for doing or not doing. What would happen if you did forgive yourself for something on that list? How would you do it? What would that even mean and entail? Is there part of you that doesn’t want to forgive yourself? Why? What does forgiveness even mean, anyway? Today, write all about this and see where you land.

Everything up to this points is, of course, a full, usual prompt and you’re free and welcome to pause here and use it for just that and write your heart out with it. Or, you can become a paid subscriber (or log-in if you already are) to continue reading the continuation of this exploration of forgiveness and the self and how we might pull that into our writing. I appreciate you, either way.
