Write about a moment in which you experienced gaslighting. It could be a big, emotional scene with a loved one, or a comment from a stranger (looking at you, salesperson from 2015 who insisted I didn’t know where my own waist was when I said her terrible dress suggestion was too high-waisted because, hello, I am a tall drink of water, okay? Gahhd.) or maybe even a moment in which you were the gaslighte-r not gaslight-ee. Whatever just popped into your head, write it down. Let’s go.
