Today, write about a memorable experience you had while staying at a hotel.
This one’s a toss-up for me: Once, on a cross-country solo road trip, I checked into a fairly nondescript motel late at night needing to sleep for just a few hours before pressing on and was surprised to discover it was a couples hook-up sort of place (which I did not realize until I got to the room), or about the time I was staying in a hotel in New Orleans alone and heard kids giggling at my door at various points through the night but never saw them and when I asked to be moved to another room the next morning, the clerk told me the hotel was a boarding school that had burned 150 years ago and that many guests complained about hearing children giggling at night which is not creepy af at all.
Now that I write those out, I realize I need to write both stories immediately.
