Learning by family example
Sometimes great (sometimes a cautionary tale)
Today, write about something you learned by example from a parent/relative/elder. That could mean writing about how your aunt shared her love of poetry with you and inspired you to love it, too. Or, how your grandfather taught you what it means to be an artist. Or, maybe you learned what not to do as a parent by the not-great example you got or maybe you learned the importance of self-care by watching the consequences for an elder who wasn’t able to care for themselves terribly well. Whatever it is, get into that today. Let’s go.
