Learning from each other
I mean, this is kind of everything, right?
Today, write about something you have learned recently from another person. Specifically, rather than a fact or detail you learned from them, write about a new perspective you gained as a result of a conversation with them or by observing them. Obviously, we don’t want to write/publish about a private conversation without consent to do so, but maybe a tiny detail a friend said offhandedly gave you an epiphany, or maybe a coworker has a fascinating system for keeping themselves organized or maybe one of your kids got you onto a life-changing TikTok creator’s work. Whatever the answer if for you, today, write about that.
I tend to think about this for everyone I spend any amount of time with, because we can all learn things from each other if we’re doing things right and surrounding ourselves with people with a variety of perspectives and interests.
