Longing
We can long for lots of things, but follow the one calling the loudest
Today, write about the idea of longing for a person, an event, a place, or whatever. Maybe it’s as simple and light as longing for the weekend on a Monday, or as complex and heavy as longing for a person or for an idea like freedom or a place like home.
You could even take it journalistically and profile a person who did something wild in the name of longing, a person who is incarcerated who is longing to get out, a person in exile longing to return to where they want to be.
Whatever the idea of longing just brought up, write into that. Let’s go.
