Today, write the story of something you missed, but only barely, and about what happened as a result of you missing it. Maybe you ran for a flight but arrived at the gate as the jetway doors were closing and met someone interesting in the airport instead, or you narrowly missed being mowed down in a crosswalk and that’s what made you decide to leave that city, or maybe you swerved to avoid hitting a squirrel in the street and drove into a ditch, orrrr, maybe you missed a deadline by a day and ended up getting deported or not enrolling in school.
