Obligations we don’t want
What if they stopped being obligations?
Today write about a promise or deal you’ve made you no longer want to fulfill, whether or not you feel like you can get out of it. Maybe that’s a gig, a promise to be in a certain job, a relationship, a collaboration, or even a deal you made with yourself. And you’re just done. Write about why, write about what you would like to do instead, how you’d feel if this obligation just dissolved, what getting out of this obligation would require of you, and, if it’s the case, write about why you feel compelled to push ahead anyway.
