Write today about an omen. That might mean how you don’t believe in them at all save for that one time a really weird thing happened, or how you look for them constantly and rarely proceed with anything without one, or writing the story or a really freaky omen-thing you expereienced, or any number of things in between and around those ideas.
I’m omen-agnostic but I recently had a big thought on my heart in a moment of worry and looked up and saw a rainbow and appreciated it was there. The rainbow by itself didn’t mean anything—nothing does until we attach our own meanings to objects and events and sights like that—but the meaning I was happy to interpret from the sighting was a hopeful one.
Let’s write.
I created a whole-ass support system/course to help people doing creative work end loops of frustration/stagnation and come out of the gate with a framework to get/keep their creative shit together, promote their work in a strategic way, and feel good and safe about being SEEN doing their creative work. It’s called The Seen AF Method, my project to help creatives challenge narratives around creative work and visibility and build a unique-to-your-art strategy to set yourself and your work up for more.
Doors opened last week and I’ve been having great conversations about it with all kinds of creative people like writers, editors, filmmakers, actors, dancers, chefs, artists and musicians. Learn more about the whole thing here, and/or book a chat with me about it here and we’ll see if it’s a good fit for you.
