Read your work out loud

Here's why...

Always read your work out loud after you finish tinkering with it. I can’t stress that enough. Sure, it seems like one extra step, but if something is a mouthful to read out loud and you wrote it, it’s going to be a mess in the mind of your reader. Remember, we have to earn and keep the attention of our readers with each word, so make it easy for them to stay tuned in to your work.
