Write today about a sudden revelation. It could be your own, it could be one you witnessed someone else having, it could be a revelation you’ve only heard about.
This morning, I had a small-but-mighty revelation while journaling that gave me clarity about a situation that had long vexed me, but the revelation itself was so simple I almost felt embarrassed that I hadn’t realized it earlier. (To that sort of thing, my former therapist used to say that we must imagine our minds like attics filled with boxes. We go upstairs and get to work and grab the most urgent—e.g., the closest—box first and deal with it, then the next more urgent and the next. So, even if the issue in the box in the far corner took a while to unearth, you got to it as soon as it was accessible.)
Let’s write into that.
More news from Guth HQ: In addition to my creative visibility coaching program, I’ve also just opened The Visibility Lab, a low-cost membership space to receive asynchronous, ongoing feedback and guidance to help creative people to build momentum in their creative work.
Also, here’s a puppy.
