Secret bats (or secret whatever)
I did indeed recently encounter a secret bat
Write about a time you were the only one who noticed somethingand how you carried it.
I recently found myself in a large conference hall and seemed to be one of only three people who noticed a baby bat clinging to the ceiling. Thousands of people were milling around and nobody seemed to notice. The three of us debated how to handle it in a way that would cause the least amount of chaos for humans and the bat alike, and I remember distinctly trying hard not to look up every time I was near the bat, lest I tip everyone off.
It’s like that. Maybe you carried something emotionally, kept a secret, or, fuck it, maybe you saw a bat at a conference, too. Whatever happened, write about how you carried the information when only you knew.
