Today in your writing practice, consider where in your life you might be only slightly missing your target. So, not necessarily where you’re really far from where you want to be, but more like ways in which you are so close to your target, but just not quite there yet. That could be in one single situation, or it could be expressed through a habit in which you continually are almost at your desired result but not quite. That could be a relationship or friendship pattern, a creative practice, a fitness practice like running or yoga, or really anything in which you feel like you’re trying hard and hitting the general area of the bullseye, but not necessarily landing in the center.
