Superstitions
(because a bird gave me "good luck"...?)
Yesterday afternoon, a bird shit on my head, and, in some parts of the world, folks would call that good luck. (I did not feel lucky at the time.)
In the spirit of that “luck,” today, write about a superstition or similar type of belief that you have or that you were raised around. What’s the origin of it? What’s it mean to you? What’s it role in your life? To what all do you connect it? Let’s get into that.
Not necessarily pertaining to just this edition Amy, but I’ve got to say I love what you’re doing. While it helps as a writer, I found that it also inspires me in what I write about on my Substack.
