Today, write about a thing that feels hella awkward for you to discuss. Do you feel squeamish to talk about your compensation expectations? Or shy to talk with your partner about some act of intimacy? Or, maybe you’d rather get poked in the eye than talk about politics with your relatives? Whatever the thing, peel layers back beyond “this shit is awkward” and talk about why it’s challenging for you, how it feels when the topic comes up, why you think you might have been socialized to not be confident about it, and how you wish you could handle it instead.
And, if no topic feels awkward for you to talk about, hell, write about that.
