Dig into your LinkedIn for a moment. There are tons of tweaks that can be made and tons of ways to optimize your profile, and we’ll dig into those in another post, but here’s just a tiny thing:
Go through your current or most recent job description and make sure it leads with the kinds of keywords people who would hire you would actually be searching for (try this: remove buzzwords and bizspeak and start with things you actually did). Then make sure it’s also written in a way that speaks to what you accomplished in that role, and not just what your daily duties were, especially if you can articulate a way you had a positive impact on revenue (because people who will want to hire you and going to be glad to see that you know how to drive revenue; in fact, that could be the thing that gives you a leg up on everyone else.)
Hit save. Good work. Now, put a little time on your calendar to do this two the job you had before that and repeat the process until you’ve gotten through it all.
