When on empty
Of course you can’t pour from an empty cup but how do you refill the damned thing?
Write about how you restore yourself when you’re just plain exhausted. Or, maybe you haven’t worked that out yet this season if your life and you’re running on empty right now, in which case, I hope you can write about that. Let’s do that.
Lately, I keep getting this little nudge about editing/curating an anthology of work written from these prompts. Not sure about a theme yet, but if you’re writing along or have taken any of the prompts from this Substack at any point and written something you’re happy about from them, I’d love to hear about it.
Other new stuff from Guth HQ:
I’m launching a weekly mini-interview series here. If you’re a writer and want to answer 2-4 questions about your brainstorming/coming-up-with-ideas process as a writer, holler at me via amy [at] amyguth [dot] com.
My deep-work creative visibility program, The Seen AF Method now comes as a condensed 3-month version. You’ll still get lifetime access to all full program materials, but instead of 6 months of weekly coaching, you can knock that into 3 months and save money in the process. Learn about the program here. And, I do offer a referral discount, so ping me to chat about that. In fact, if you have questions about any of it, book a slot on my calendar and let’s talk about it.
