Words you love/hate

What otherwise innocuous word is used casually that you can’t stand? Today, make a list of words you don’t like, pick one and write about it. Or, do the opposite, and make a list of words you really, really like, then pick one and write about it.
And, when I say “write about it,” I invite you to be creative with what that really means as a prompt. Does that mean literally writing about the word? Maybe so! But, it could also mean that the word triggers an idea of something bigger to write about, or reminds ou of another thing. Be open with this (and, tbh, every) prompt.
(Sidebar: I have a list on my phone of words I do not like, and another list of words that I really like. Top of the like list? Resilient. Defenestration. Ostensibly. Excoriate. Top of the dislike list? Raiments. Physicality. Munch. Eatery.)
