I do hope you’ll indulge me as I interrupt your usual daily writing prompt programming for one extra note.

Is it just me or does everything feel kind of suddenly, weirdly urgent right now? Like this strange pull to get everything done and get ready very quickly for… whatever next chapter is ahead? Sames. I feel that every day lately, even if I have yet to totally be able to pinpoint why other than (*gestures at general intensity of the world*).

With that, I’ve seen a little bump in inquires about working with me 1:1 on nonfiction book proposals and manuscript developmental edits. Which delights me, to be sure, but also, sometimes folks only need a little, tiny bit of help with the mechanics of a book proposal or just a little, tiny amount of guidance about avoiding common missteps (and, to be sure, it’s damn hard to Google things you don’t know you don’t know).
